Anna is an MIT Biology PhD student in the Gaiha lab. She received a BS and an MS in Medical and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology from the IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems in Austria. Her undergraduate research explored epigenetic regulators in leukemia models under the mentorship of Johannes Zuber at Institute for Molecular Pathology in Vienna, Austria.
Driven by her interest in adaptive immunity, she joined the Gaiha lab to study CD8+ T cell dysfunction. When not in lab, she enjoys cycling, hiking, skiing, yoga, traveling and baking.
