Ben Goldberg
BA Biology & Chemistry, Bates College
he/him/his
Ben is a research technician in the Gaiha lab. He attended Bates College in Maine, having graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2021 with a degree in Biology and Chemistry. During his time at Bates, Ben conducted research on memory and pharmacology, and completed his senior thesis in Neuroscience and Biochemistry investigating the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of a novel TET2 inhibitor in the brain, and its therapeutic potential for use in memory disorders. In the Gaiha lab Ben works on the construction, generation, and testing of adenoviral vectors targeting highly networked viral epitopes to be used as vaccines. Always having had a passion for biology, immunology, and all things science, he is excited to learn more and contribute to the field. In his free time, Ben loves to run, hike, cook, bake, and read (though he finds he has less time than he'd like to do any of these).
